NSW Export Assistance Grant

Please feel free to call me in relation to the Export Assistance Grant which is outlined below.

Are you eligible?

We have previously provided you with general information on the grant and full details can now be found on the Service NSW website.

  • Review the grant eligibility, guidelines and terms and conditions here.

  • This grant is provided as reimbursement of 50% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of $10,000 per eligible business, for expenses already paid since 1 January 2020.

  • You can submit either one application up to the maximum claim of $10,000 or multiple applications of a minimum claim of $2000 per application each, totalling a maximum of $10,000.

What do you need to apply?

  • A MyServiceNSW Account. If you do not already have one, you can easily apply at https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/how-create-myservicensw-account (for help with this call Service NSW on 13 77 88)

    • Applicants will need to use their own MyServiceNSW Account. This allows Service NSW to verify identification documentation (such as Meddcare card or driver licence etc). However, personal details that auto populate within the application can be changed to the business contact details.

  • Your company name and ABN

  • Invoice and payment receipts for the activities being claimed

  • A completed Statement of Business Eligibility prepared by the business owner or authorised representative of the eligible business, using the template provided

  • If you do not own the goods/services to be exported, you must be able to provide documented evidence that you are the agreed export supplier

  • If you do not produce in NSW the goods/services to be exported, you will need to provide documented evidence that the business provides substantial value to NSW (Service NSW will provide this template if required).

Saving your application

You cannot save your application. You need to complete it in one sitting so we recommend that you:

  • Download the ‘Statement of Business Eligibility’ template and have the relevant authorised representative complete and sign this.

  • Prepare all relevant tax invoices/receipts for the eligible activities you will be claiming.
