Global Markets Update

Global Markets Update

Michael FinucanWelcome to the August edition of Global markets update where we give special focus to market developments in Vietnam and Mexico

Also, after a momentous year of political activity in Europe, we hear from MLA’s International Business Manager, Josh Anderson, who reflects on the importance of market access activities in the region and looks at the opportunities for the Australian red meat industry as the UK prepares to leave the EU in 2019. MLA also recently held its third annual Aussie beef and lamb barbecue in Brussels which attracted 600 guests including EU parliamentarians, importers and other influencers.

In this edition you can also find out more about how MLA is bolstering its global data collection, reporting and analysis. You can also see a snapshot of how these services provide important insights into consumer trends in key markets – this month we focus on Australia’s largest export market, the USA.

I hope you enjoy this edition, as always feel free to email me with feedback at any time.
