Integrity Matters

Integrity Matters
Welcome to the first issue of Integrity Matters, a quarterly e-bulletin for Australia’s red meat producers.

Our $22.9 billion industry relies on a system of food safety measures, quality assurance and traceability from paddock to plate. This integrity system consists of:
National Livestock Identification System (NLIS)
Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) program
LPA National Vendor Declaration (LPA NVD)

It is the responsibility of every livestock owner to meet the requirements of these systems which protect the industry’s reputation. This e-bulletin aims to help you keep up-to-date with these requirements.

As CEO of the red meat industry’s National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) Limited, I encourage you to have a read and send me any feedbackon the stories included in this email.

You don’t need to do a thing to continue receiving Integrity Matters – it will be delivered to your inbox four times a year.
