ABC's flagship rural television program Landline broadcast a special edition earlier this month. The program, supported by Austrade, provides a contemporary view of the opportunities and challenges for the Australian food and agriculture sectors in China.

Australia-China Agricultural Cooperation Agreement Program 2017 Funding Round
Two streams of funding are available to organisations interested in projects to develop Australia's agricultural trading relationship with China. Apply by 10 March.

Key national and state-based organisations that support exports are joining forces to establish a single network for Western Australian exporters. Korea welcomes Aussie eggs for the first time
Recently, South Korean authorities have permitted importation of fresh eggs for the first time. Australian suppliers are well-positioned to take advantage of this opportunity, but should take care to secure the benefits of KAFTA and to comply with establishment registration and other important requirements. The agribusiness delegation at Indonesia Australia Business Week (IABW) is close to capacity. Austrade invites agriculture companies to participate in an Australian consulting services mission to The Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) eighth annual Business Opportunities Fair. Register now

Taste of Australia - Professional Tasting Tokyo and Osaka,
16-18 May

Austrade invites Australian exporters and/or their Japanese importers to participate in this VIP promotional event, targeting key customers and influencers in Japan’s
high-end retail and food service channels. Register by 28 February.

Pearl River Delta Mission, 12-13 May
Austrade invites HOFEX exhibitors and visitors from Australia to join a business mission to the tier one cities of Shenzhen and Guangzhou and developing cities of Foshan and Zhongshan. Register now

Seeking interest: Agritech workshop in Brazil, May
Austrade is seeking interest from companies to participate in an agritech workshop in May or June 2017 in Brazil. The workshop will promote Australian capabilities in agricultural technology and explore new approaches to industry-engaged research and collaboration opportunities. Express interest by 3 March.

Australian Food and Beverage and Consumer Product Showcase, Seoul, 10-11 April
New-to-Korea exporters are invited to participate in a food and beverage product showcase. This market features a rapidly expanding range of Australian products and brands. Register by 10 March.

A new DAWN for Australian agribusiness in Pakistan: 4-5 April
Join the Australian Pavilion at DAWN AgriPak 2017 and help showcase Australia’s agricultural inputs, expertise and technology innovations. Register by 13 March.

Australian grains delegations head to Korea and Taiwan, April
Austrade invites you to join two delegations focused on wheat to Taiwan (10-11 April) and specialty grains to Korea (24-26 April), targeting growers, exporters, industry representatives and associated research, service and technology organisations.

Register for Taiwan by 28 February.
Register for Korea by 24 March.

Showcase your products and brands in front of key Kyushu region buyers
Austrade Japan will showcase Australian products and brands on behalf of exporters in Fukuoka and Kagoshima from 30 May to 2 June 2017. The showcase will target up to eight independent buyer groups from the retail and wholesale sectors who influence product sourcing and distribution in Kyushu. Register by 21 April.

Beef producers explore the future of trade with China
Austrade recently worked with an ANZ-led delegation of 18 beef producers to Chongqing and Shanghai, including meeting with China’s largest beef processor Hondo Agriculture.
